How NestLyft collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.

Last updated: May 2026

Who we are

NestLyft is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects low-income homeowners with skilled contractors and donor-funded support for critical home repairs. When we say “NestLyft,” “we,” or “us” in this policy, we mean the NestLyft organization and the team that operates this website.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to share with us, including:

  • Contact details you submit through forms — name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message.
  • Application details if you ask for repair assistance, become a contractor, or partner with us — typically your address, household situation, or business information.
  • Donation information if you give to NestLyft, handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
  • Basic site analytics such as pages visited, device type, and approximate location, so we can understand which parts of the site are helpful.

How we use information

  • To respond to your questions, applications, and partnership inquiries.
  • To match homeowners with appropriate contractors and resources.
  • To send updates about your application, repair, or donation when you have asked us to.
  • To improve the website and our programs.
  • To meet legal, accounting, and grant-reporting obligations as a registered nonprofit.

How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the people and services that help us run our programs — for example, a vetted contractor assigned to your repair, our payment processor for donations, or our email and hosting providers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our community.

How we protect information

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted internal access, and reputable service providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

Your choices

  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have shared.
  • You can opt out of program updates or other communications at any time.
  • You can control cookies through your browser settings — see our Cookie Policy.

Children's privacy

NestLyft's programs serve households, but the website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our programs evolve. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
